Began Feb. 28 and continues to Mar. 21. Our focus will be on Haiti, as we see the needs of the hungry there. We will gather items for health kits and school kits, give “how to” information on making quilts, and invite everyone to participate, from young and on up. Look for samples of kits and instructions outside the doors of the sanctuary beginning Ash Wednesday. Money collected will go to “ELCA Hunger Appeal: Disaster Response”.

Would You Like To Make A Lenten Journey? At 11am on Ash Wednesday, a Bible Study Lenten Journey begins with Pastor Barb in the church lounge. We will be using the “Book of Faith” study on Romans 12—stories, reflections and prayer, gathering each Wednesday of Lent following the morning worship, ending before noon. Bring a Bible.
Lenten Soups
Do you make a mean chicken noodle soup or a soup you are famous for? We need a few good soup creators to provide soup for our Lenten dinners. Each soup chef would be needed to bring 2-3 gallons of their soup. Sign up in the Narthex, on our “Lenten Soup Board” for the date you would like to share your creation. Our first Lenten dinner is February 24th. We also need members to help serve and clean up each night.
