Join us for a celebration of the wealth of talent at Prince of Peace on Sunday afternoon, February 14th. We need lots of acts – singers, players, actors, jugglers, dancers, artists, comics – whatever! Talk to friends and family and put your act together now! Lenten Theme: Stories Around the Fire
Ash Wednesday – February 17th, at 10am and 6:30pm
Annual service of confession (confession is the activity by which your mouth gives away what’s in your head and heart); worship includes the opportunity for the imposition of ashes.
Lenten Mid-Week Services begin February 24th
-Morning service will be held in the sanctuary at 10am.
-Lenten Dinners (Soup & Sandwiches) begin at 5:30pm
-Evening service at 6:30pm for Holden Evening Prayer
LENTEN SOUPS
Do you make a mean chicken noodle soup or a soup you are famous for? We need a few good soup creators to provide soup for our Lenten dinners. Each soup chef would be needed to bring 2-3 gallons of their soup. Sign up in the Narthex, on our “Lenten Soup Board” for the date you would like to share your creation. Our first Lenten dinner is February 24th.
